ELECTION DAY TOMORROW

Monday, November 3rd, 2008

So I'm going to try something new this post, too... I'm going to write the post, and then read it, so everyone can hear how I'm saying it. I don't know why, but I figure I should take advantage of this whole audio thing while I want to do it! I'm still messing around with different recording programs (I'm going to use Audacity, which the open source community swears by... I remember not liking how it worked, but that was when I was working with DVD length multi-hundred megabyte raw Wave files, so a low quality MP3 might fare a little better!) and I'm still messing around with volume, so... Yeah.

ELECTION DAY TOMORROW
Go get Adobe Flash Player!

But today is November 3rd, which means tomorrow is November 4th, which means... You guessed it: Election Day! I just want to take this time to encourage Republicans and conservatives to get out there and vote! Don't let the polls discourage you... That's the intent of them all. Plus, I just read a post that makes fun of FOX News for showing polls that pretty much say the election is going to Obama. Of course, the liberal who posted that was laughing at how even "right-wing FOX" was for Obama, but all of us conservatives know just how NOT conservative FOX really is. But, hey, the liberals have it in their mind that FOX is conservative and we all know how pointless it is to change their minds on things... We keep trying when it comes to Obama's nasty ideas, but FOX not actually being conservative is kind of low on the list of priorities.

But see, that's the whole point... Every poll from every network says something different. FOX has one set of numbers, CNN has a different set of numbers, ABC, CBS, NBC... They all have their own sets of numbers. They all have Obama in the lead, just at different degrees of crushing victory. But the fact is, across the table, all the polls have become narrower as Election Day draws near! Where Obama was 15 points ahead, he's now only 10, and where he was 10 points ahead, it's now merely 4. A while back, some "unbiased" polling group said it was pretty much a statistical tie between the two candidates and the Daily Kos was flipping their lid over how something like that could have happened. Well, folks... Let me tell you: That's what happens when the media artificially inflates the numbers for the candidate they support. As Election Day draws nearer, the polls start to normalize (at least as much as they will without actually giving the Republicans a lead) so the polling services can say, "Hey! Look at our polling data! We were most accurate!" Because who would listen to a polling service who says a candidate was a million points ahead and had the election sealed and then it turns out to be a million points for the other candidate?

Everyone should know by now that he polls mean squat, especially with the last two Presidential elections where President Bush was NOT "supposed" to be the President... The polls were so insanely in Gore's favor that when Bush won, the Democrats were convinced that the election was stolen and a lot of them still think that to this day! That's really the root of this whole "Bush Derangement Syndrome" we've witnessed over the last eight years and BDS is really what's driving the whole campaign on that side! If you don't believe me, all you have to do is listen to Obama blather on about how the last eight years has been absolutely horrible and that McCain is "more of the same". Yeah, he's basing his whole campaign on the fact that people dislike Bush... So much for the clean campaign he promised during the primaries and was praised and lauded for by his loyal disciples in the civilian population and the mainstream media.

I could go into a whole post about how poor an Obama election would be for the country, as I've repeatedly done since the guy cheated his ways through the Democrat primaries, but even though he has recently declared that he wants to bankrupt the coal mining business, and that under his rule, energy prices would skyrocket (because we all know an increase in expenses during a recession is the best thing to do). That all just happened yesterday... Two days before the election. So why would anyone want to vote for someone who will deliberately try to destroy a market during a recession? Didn't this guy promise everyone jobs? How are there going to be jobs if he raises taxes on businesses (thus chasing them overseas where taxes are lighter) and even going so far as to destroy certain markets? Absolutely amazing... But I'm not going to talk about any of that, because I think, by this point, everyone with a brain knows Obama is a horrible, horrible choice, and that everyone who is voting for him isn't going to care about anything like this that comes up, and they've already voted early. No, I just want to say, before Election Day, that what we Republicans need to do is get out there and VOTE.

The media is going crazy trying to tell us there's no point in voting... They're wrong. They were wrong the last two Presidential elections! They've been wrong in the past, and let's show them how wrong they are now. For some reason, they think that if they tell us there's no hope, we're going to sit back and wait for McCain to lose... For some reason, they think we're not going to hear what they're saying and get so upset at the fact that the media is saying the elections are over before they even started, and they don't think we're going to get up and try to prove them wrong! If you think your vote doesn't count, you're crazy! That doesn't work in a country like this... If 100,000 people all thought their vote doesn't count, and they don't even bother, then that's 100,000 less votes for someone who could have had them, and as we recall in November of 2000, 100,000 votes is all it could take to completely change the outcome. This is why ACORN's voter fraud is so despicable, because they know that every little vote counts, illegal or not... So we Republicans need to realize this as well and go out there and show this country we mean business.

So, in closing... Tomorrow? Get off your couch and get out there and vote! This is the future of the country we're talking about here, and an Obama presidency is totally unacceptable and we all know it. So get out there and do your American duty and participate in the process that makes this country the best country on the face of the planet!

Sarah Palin Rally

Sunday, November 2nd, 2008

Because I'm like... A complete idiot, I never did mention that I uploaded a parcel of photos that I took at the Sarah Palin rally in Noblesville, Indiana that took place way back on October 17. Where are those photos, you ask? Why, they're on my Flickr page, I answer! Each photo has been painstakingly tagged, dated and described for your viewing pleasure. There's 40 of them, and I suggest you look at them all from start to finish. There's a few good ones, but a few not so great ones... And the pictures of Palin herself are very poor since the camera we have doesn't enjoy zooming very close.

I took some video, too, but I'm not going to digitize it because it's all shaky and nasty, but I did manage to download the streaming videos of our local TV news stations that recorded her speech. It's nearly 250MB, though, and in .FLV format which doesn't play very well, but it DOES play on VideoLAN VLC, but you have to open VLC and then drag the .FLV file into it and start it that way. Since it's really big, I'm not going to offer it as a stream, because I don't want to make it easy for people to devour my bandwidth, but I will offer it as a download! Knock yourself out!

I will, however, offer the quick snippet that aired on a local station that I took photos of! Jay Hermacinski of WISHTV News interviews a few people just ahead of us who managed to get the gates first, and then the camera pans to show the line forming so early in the morning AND YOU CAN SEE US! Look!

So now you folks have a big, expanded blurry image to attribute to the guy who makes everyone angry with his crazy conservative Christian insights into politics. Ain't that great? Here's the quick clip itself, since you know you're dying to see me on TV. Please make note that the reporter says "over 20,000 Hoosier Republicans are here." That's right. There were 25,000 people there, as a matter of fact, and that number was said more than once by the people who were actually running the thing, so that's the number there was. However, as the days drew on afterwards, the media started cutting corners and saying "20,000" and "less than 20,000" and someone managed to say "15,000"... What a bunch of poop. Even our local stations are trying to gloss over Palin's incredible success and give the illusion that she's a burden on the Republican ticket. Ah, how clueless they all really are. Anyway, here's the video:

So now you've seen me on TV! And don't forget to check out the Flickr photos, eh? And ignore that dumb bit about McCain being accused of running a smear campaign. I watched that segment, too, and it's pretty much the same ol' liberal whining about things he's said about Obama that "are just dodging the issues" and junk like that. Nothing special. Same ol' garglemesh.

Obama's Citizenship

Saturday, November 1st, 2008

Do people not bother to read? Do they skim over, look at key words, and then make assumptions as to what I've said in the other 1,500 words? Someone, once again, decided to make an enormous comment that was, surprise-surprise, merely a copy/paste from another article. This one was big... STOP DOING THAT. I will not post them. Link to it, give your own summary... Use your own ideas. Don't paste another site in verbatim, please. I won't post it. I did, however, read it because it was too irritating to pass up.

They basically pasted this forum post from Sean Hannity's site that brings up a bunch of technicalities on why Obama's citizenship isn't the way to go and I vehemently disagree. For the record, when I heard that both McCain and Obama might not be natural born citizens, I wondered why both of them were even running for president. McCain proved he was born on American soil and got that taken care of... Obama did not. It's as simple as that. The post talks about how we should vote against Obama because his policies are wicked crazy and stupid and that we shouldn't be "resorting to trickery of the law." Excuse me? Since when is making sure a Presidential candidate considered "trickery of the law?" He's either eligible or NOT eligible, and he's not come out and proven that he's a natural born citizen of the United States. If he can't do that, he's not eligible to run for President, period, end of story. It's un-Constitutional, not "trickery." Why is it that even someone claiming to be a Republican is giving Obama a pass on this? Why did they also completely ignore the fact that the courts said voters had no standing to question this? People are saying "it's only a birth certificate", but that's just it! It's his BIRTH CERTIFICATE. It's a Constitutional violation if he can't prove he's eligible for President, which he hasn't. He has, in fact, gone to extreme measures so he doesn't have to do that! Why would anyone do that? He's a public official running for the most powerful office in the most powerful country on this planet... He has no right to privacy in this matter. We need to know if he's Constitutionally eligible to be President. The fact that the courts tossed it out because someone not already a politican can't raise this issue is another huge Constitutional violation. It's Constitutional violations out the ears, here!

The post goes on to give reasons why Obama could actually be a "natural born citizen" and pulls out that tired liberal line: "Nobody really knows what the Constitution says here." There's no special way of wording it, folks... It's a document written by regular people like you and me who happened to take initiative to get our government working. It's not written in lawyer lingo... It's written at face value.

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

That means exactly what it says. There's no way to twist it... You read it and take it at face value. So what does this portray when you read it at face value:

"No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States."

It means that nobody but a natural born Citizen, a Citizen at the time the Constitution is ratified, should be let into office. They have to be 35 years old and lived inside the country for at least 14 of those years. The question rises "what does natural born Citizen mean?" Well, what the heck do you think it means? I'm going to go out on a limb here and say they mean someone who, when born, was recognized as an American citizen, born on American soil. Obama was not born in American territory. McCain was born in Panama, but on an American military base, which is considered American territory. But if you would have bothered to read the post I linked to that discusses this whole thing in detail, you would see how there ARE ways to be considered a "natural born Citizen". Basically, this applies to Obama. If he was born in Kenya (which all evidence points to in spite of his saying he was born in Hawaii) to an American mother, she could still file a birth certificate to have him considered a natural born Citizen. She could have, and she might have. The point is nobody knows... And she might NOT have and there are a variety of reasons why she might not have. If she didn't, Obama is NOT a natural born American Citizen, he is a natural born Kenyan citizen which makes him totally ineligible for our office and should be kicked out of the race, period.

I totally agree... We need to vote against this guy because his policies are outright insane. They're ridiculous and stupid and have been proven time and time again in the past that they don't work. Raise taxes in a recession merits a depression, which we saw with Herbert Hoover. Unconditonally meet with dictators merits redicule and loss of standing in the world, which we saw with John F Kennedy. Redistribution of wealth is something Russia tried and look how booming their economy is. The list goes on and on. So yes, I totally agree that Obama needs to be voted down because he's crazy... But what does it say about Republicans (or anyone else for that matter) if we're willing to ignore the possibility that Obama is Constitutionally ineligible to run for President? If we break one rule of the Constitution, then we might as well thrown the whole thing out. This country has slowly twisted and perverted that document to mean whatever the heck they want it to mean, but this is crossing the line... Voters aren't allowed to question if someone meets the Constitutional requirements for office? Who gives the COURT the right to decide that? Nobody! Their sole purpose is to look at existing law and make decisions, not look at the sitution and change existing law. The courts have gone mad with power and they're being un-Constitutional. Does anyone realize how horrible that is? That's breaking the highest laws in our land... The rock solid principles this country was founded on are being thrown out the window so a liberal socialist "American" can run for office and royally foul up this country.

So no, I don't agree we should let this matter drop... If we don't stand up for the Constitution, then who will? Definitely not the Democrat-controlled Congress, that the Judge says has the "standing". Republican officials are all labeled bitter old white people who want to stop Obama because he's black. (Actually, most voters are labeled that, too, in an effort to coerce them into voting.) Obama might very well be a natural born Citizen, and the way he can prove that is to show the relevant documents... WHICH HE HAS NOT DONE for absolutely no reason. There is no reason he could come up with that could explain why he hasn't done this, because there is nothing more important than adhering the Constitution.

If you all want to bury your head in the sand, fine... But this ruling errodes your rights more than that "evil" Patriot Act (that has probably not affected you in the least bit). It's amazing how someone so targeted (the Patriot Act) can make people get so up in arms about their violation of rights, but when someone comes along and makes a broad ruling that "regular voters can't enforce the Constitution", everyone's content to sit around, shrug their shoulders and say "oh well, I'm still voting for my free health care" or "oh well, at least we can still vote against him." Preposterous... If you people were responsible for getting the country off the ground in 1776, we would still be answering to the Monarcy of England to this day.

Early Obama Voters (Update 1)

Friday, October 31st, 2008

I thought I might add a little something to my last two posts:

All you early Obama voters are stuck with him now. Good job. None of you thought anything could come out in the next few weeks that would hurt him, but, guess what, they did... Although I think if you're the kind of person to vote early, then his aunt and the fact that we're not allowed to ask if he has a birth certificate won't bother you too much anyway. There's so much stuff out there on him that even if you voted for him back then, you were already blind to everything.

I really don't get how people could for for someone who:

  • Associates with terrorists like Bill Ayers.
  • Was an active member of the socialist New Party.
  • Is endorsed by the Communist Party of the United States.
  • Openly told a small business owner that spreading the wealth is good.
  • Is supported as US President by terrorists in the middle east.
  • Doesn't take care of his family when he constantly claims he does.
  • Received massive donations from those directly responsible for the financial crisis.
  • Still can't admit that the surge strategy in Iraq was a success.
  • Think it's great that people have to spend 4 dollars a gallon for gasoline.
  • Supports leaving babies to die after they've been born in spite of failed abortions.
  • Trained ACORN members in the art of getting people registered to vote.
  • Is willing to talk to evil dictators without asking for preconditions.
  • Will support the radio "Fairness Doctrine" if it reaches his desk.
  • Will increase taxes on businesses, increasing the rate at which they move overseas.

The list goes on and on... But let's ignore all that because he's giving us FREE MONEY with redistribution of wealth and increasing taxes and penalties on businesses to provide cheap and free health care. Let's sacrifice everything just so we have the illusion of having more money. The greed of money truly is the root of all evil.

Update 1: I forgot to mention the fact that his own VP candidate, Joe "Gaffe Machine" Biden, said to mark his words that in not more than a few months, certain countries of the world will rise up to test Obama with some sort of crisis and that Obama won't respond in a way that's popular with the voters, but to keep the polls up and give him support through the hard time. Wow. You can't make that up.

Obama's Family

Friday, October 31st, 2008

So I decided to split my last post into two, since they're both heavy topics. The first dealt with the fact that the courts are throwing out lawsuits that try to force Obama to show his birth certificate because we regular folks don't have the standing to question someone on something that big. Scary stuff. But I'm going to talk about another thing that's come out that you WON'T hear on the mainstream media! Obama's charity.

You all know the rigamarole Obama spews forth about how we all need to take care of our neighbors. His books and his speeches are filled to the brim with "I am my brother's keeper" (giving a sick twist to a biblical quote) and that he takes care of his family and that we all need to take care of each other. Over and over again. This is pretty much the core of his political throne: We have to help each other. And to reinforce the idea that he's the guy to do it, he keeps bringing up his family and how he takes care of them. The media made a collective "aww!" when he went to visit his ailing grandmother (the same grandmother he called a "typical white person fearing everyone she doesn't know"). They made such a gargantuan deal about the fact that he put his campaign aside for a day or so and visited his grandmother... But you can bet your bottom dollar they won't report this little gem.

It turns out... That someone found his aunt living in some Boston slums. The best part about this is that it was a UNITED KINGDOM NEWSPAPER that covered it! We have to rely on other countries who are interested in our politics to get unbiased information on our candidates? That alone should be a wake-up call to all you mainstream media outlets and all you liberal Democrats. As much as I love the UK for doing this, it sickens me that they have to... They shouldn't have to report breaking news like this on our own presidential candidates. It's getting that bad, America.

This is the aunt mentioned in his books... The one he insinuated that he felt a responsibility to take care of. He clearly hasn't, eh? Obama is incredibly rich, folks... For all the "I'm a family man" talk he vomits forth, he sure doesn't walk the talk. Now, I was willing to overlook the fact that Obama's half-brother is living in a hut in Kenya on a buck a month, because he's a half-brother. I'm going to give Obama the benefit of the doubt and say he might not have known he had a half-brother. Chances are he did, but I'm going to let this one slide. (Although I might also point out that this was another UK paper that pointed it out. Thank you, UK!) But this is the aunt he's talked about in his own book, Dreams from My Father. What excuse does he have for not being aware of the livlihood of the family member he spoke of in his book with the context of having responsibility to take care of his family? She's been there for years and nobody knew she was related to him. Guess that means he doesn't visit much, eh? She's disabled, too... She's the prime target of Obama's financial redistribution efforts and she's not getting any help... And what is Obama saying makes him the best guy to redistribute all your money? The fact that he takes care of his family. What is the argument he uses all the time? That those with a bunch of money have an obligation to help everyone worse off and that the government is going to step in, tax workers a lot more and then evenly distribute it to everyone, workers and non-workers alike. He says the rich need to have their money taken away and given to the poor because it's the right thing to do and he can tell you think because he's taken care of his family!

But he doesn't take care of his family. Go figure!

While this clearly isn't as large of an issue as the fact that the courts have told us all we have no right to ask for Obama's birth certificate, this is still a very big problem. Everyone who's voting for him is doing so because he's going to "help" this country! Everyone's expecting him to follow through with all his promises, but if people would actually look for substance behind those promises, they would be sorely disappointed. But the liberals don't WANT to do that... They think that if they keep their eyes closed, all of that will be meaningly, so they'll keep ignoring it and praising their Almighty Obamessiah, Savior of America!

What a bunch of lies. His whole life is one giant lie. Where he was born, how he was raised, how he lives his life now that he's rich, and what he's going to do... It's all one gargantuan lie and it's all right there to see if people would actually go look. I'm almost of the opinion that if this country is stupid enough to elect a creep like this, then we deserve the collapse of everything we love.

Constitutional Violation

Friday, October 31st, 2008

Even with 4 days left, Obama's character and honesty keeps failing... He's one of those guys where even if you think you can't get any more negative coverage of this guy, hey, presto! You get more! Of course, you will hear absolutely none of this on the mainstream media who is working overtime to get this guy elected in spite of all the problems that keep bubbling to the surface. It's amazing how much the media is sacrificing. Their own stocks and viewerships are tanking and they don't seem to care in the least bit... Good ol' American mainstream media. But anyway! What's new with Obama? They're big ones!

First up... Remember when I mentioned that lawsuit in Pennsylvania that took Obama to task on his eligibility to be President? Basically, he's never shown a 100% legal birth certificate, and even the one he's shown everyone online is not an official birth certificate. The number is blocked out so nobody can verify it and terminology is wrong for the time he was born. All things accounted for, it's probably a fake... So a Democrat lawyer decided to sue Obama to get him to show us all his real birth certificate like McCain did when people tried to peg him as ineligible because he was born in Panama. (McCain was born on a military base, which is considered American territory, but he also showed a real birth certificate, and that shut everyone up. Why didn't Obama do it at that time, too?) But guess what?

The lawsuit has been tossed out by the judge. (This link is to a blog, but they provide a source to the court documents if you can't take my word for it.) Surprise, surprise. Obama didn't show anyone his birth certificate, and instead managed to get the suit thrown out because, and I'm dead serious, we "voters" apparently don't have enough "standing" to call out a candidate on something this big. Do you realize how utterly TYRANNICAL this is? A normal voter doesn't have enough clout, enough standing, enough authority to ask a candidate for the President of the United States of America if he's even ELIGIBLE for the office. What happened to "a government of the people, by the people, for the people"? If voters don't have enough power to question something like this, we're looking at the reason why we split from England in 1776. There is NOBODY more powerful than a voter when it comes to voting! The courts (and Obama) have managed to shut someone else up who might wreck their campaign and there's serious Constitutional ramifications.

The guy who brought the lawsuit up to begin with put it perfectly:

"This is a question of who has standing to stand up for our Constitution," Berg said. "If I don't have standing, if you don't have standing, if your neighbor doesn't have standing to ask whether or not the likely next president of the United States--the most powerful man in the entire world--is eligible to be in that office in the first place, then who does?"

If the regular person, the regular Joe, doesn't have the ability to walk up to a POTENTIAL (I mean, he's not even a President, yet) President and ask if he's within the Constitution to run, then who on this entire planet does? Democrats? Please, the guy who opened this lawsuit used to be the chairman of the Democrat Party in the county he's from. Not them. Republicans? Don't be insane. We're all already labeled as racist morons who are trying to stop Obama from becoming President because he's black, not because he's INSANE with his policies. I, and many others, ask you: Who can stand up for the Constitution?

Come on, people. You have to prove your citizenship for a Driver's License! I had to show them a copy of my birth certificate because I didn't have many other forms of identification! We have to show a birth certificate to drive a stupid car, but Obama can't be bothered to show a birth certificate to become the President of the United States? How ridiculous is that?! The fact that he hasn't waved around a dumb piece of paper before now has to tell you something... What is he hiding? McCain's come out and shown his! Obama has not, even after a lawsuit, felt the need to show his own. Why? WHY? And why are all you Democrats ignoring this? Insanely un-Constitutional! Insanely un-American! This is absolutely apalling and astonishing! Obama has the chance of not even becoming a President and no "regular voters" are allowed to make sure?

Does anyone realize how dangerous and frightening this is? Obama is showing over and over again his complete and total disdain for the United States Constitution. It is THE governing document of our country! Nothing supercedes it, and Obama couldn't care less about it. What's more, the liberal courts couldn't care less about it, either! They're going to stop you "lowly normal people" from enforcing the Constitution. This, my friends, is BIG. This is revolution big. If our government and judicial system isn't going to enforce the Constitution, and it's not going to let the citizens enforce the Constitution, then something needs to change and it needs to change NOW. It's that big. Let me beat this into your heads, people... Nothing, nothing, nothing is more important than the Constitution in relation to our government and when the government isn't going to adhere to it... Well... Then we all have a huge problem.

And just think, you Democrats. All this can be avoided if Obama would show some stupid piece of paper. I cannot comprehend how you would so blindly vote for this man. He's the very definition of anti-American and anti-Capitalist, but none of you seem to care in the least bit. That's horrifying.

Gotta Love Liberals

Wednesday, October 29th, 2008

Ah, ya' really gotta love 'em... In another attempt to deflect the issues, some drive-by reader left another comment just now that pretty much lifts a spill of text from a liberal blog that doesn't actually give proof of what they claim. Hey! This sounds familiar... Actually, I think I recently made a post all about those kind of comments! Deja vu, eh?

To make it clear, since you all seem to have a problem with understanding this: I don't want garbage plastered all over my comments section from liberal blogs, okay? If you want to leave a comment, go ahead and actually spend time on it. Formulate your own opinions and maybe do some fact checking for yourself before you post. While this site is obviously a self-published source, I do usually make sure I link to proof of what I'm claiming so you can hear or see, for yourself, in the entire context, what is actually going on. I link to videos... I link to documents... I link to sourced articles... I don't link to blogs unless THEY have sources. I give my take on things and then I give you links so you can go check them out for yourself! Liberals rarely use them, apparently, since they continue to enjoy sticking their heads in the sand, but I keep on putting them there.

I don't want to hear you relay some sourceless opinion piece from some random site I don't care about, okay? Is that really all you have to defend your position? Regurgitated ickiness that you can't even be bothered to give your own insights into? A crude copy/paste job, sometimes even without a link (in which case I use some creative searching)... No time and no effort spent on it at all. Well, guess what? I ain't gonna spend time on you, either!

So, Mister Orolo... Your comment has been deleted! Don't let the door hit you on the way out. (Although I commend you for actually signing with a name and email address, even if they might be fake. Not many people even bother to go that far.)
