Socialist Obama
Friday, October 10th, 2008You all know the conservatives have pegged Obama as a socialist at least as far as his ideas go... Never quite been able to actually say "Obama IS a Socialist" with a capital S, but he is a "socialist" as far as his plans for the government goes. We haven't been able to call him a Socialist... Until today. Thanks to good ol' New Media and all the regular people out there with time on their hands to dig for this kind of stuff, archives have been unearthed that declare Obama a member of what's called the "New Party". I link you to Wikipedia only as a measure to educate you as to what the New Party is, but also to bring up the point that once this information hit the Internet, the entry was modified to include Obama's name, but it has since been scrubbed because although Wikipedia claims to be unbiased, they chose to ignore the sources and said Obama was only supported by the party and not actually a member, which is a lie and one of many reason why I still think Wikipedia is a washout for vital information.
I first heard of the story when it hit NewsBusters, but I didn't really give it much thought. I really only scan headlines for things of interest to me and when I saw that, I shrugged my shoulders and said "it figures", but then Peter Heck took off with the story and really went to town on it, so I'm going to help spread the word. Since Peter has a weird site that doesn't archive posts likes to clean his main page from time to time, I decided to mirror his piece:
BOMB: Obama's Membership in Socialist Party
Remember the ‘outrage’ expressed by the media at Governor Palin’s husband Todd Palin’s former membership in Alaska’s Independent Party? Remember how they viewed this as almost a disqualifying factor since AIP has supported the idea of secession from the Union? It has now been proven and verified in multiple printed documents…including one with Obama’s own signature…that he was a member of Chicago’s New Party. They are socialists. Suspicions confirmed.

Those links are the originals, but in case they get taken down, which is an extreme possibility when it comes to the Democrats covering up their lies and deceit, I have mirrored the audio and pages on my own site. Let it be known that, however, the "Proof" link goes to Archive.org, which is incredibly amazing, because NewParty.org scrubbed their site and removed all mentions of Barack Obama. Thanks to the wonders of private organizations, however, they were unable to clean it all up! Anyway, here are the mirrors in case the first links don't work anymore, because this is too important for liberal morons to cover their tracks:

To save some of you lazy folks who are apt to pop in and make some outlandish claim that proves you didn't refer to the links I've provided, I'll quote a few key points here, but I urge you to read all the articles yourself, or at least listen to Peter's segment. For all you folks who think Obama was only "supported by" the New Party and not a member of it? This quote, from the third link Peter provided, is for you:
The NP's political strategy is to support progressive candidates in elections only if they have a concrete chance to "win". This has resulted in a winning ratio of 77 of 110 elections. Candidates must be approved via a NP political committee. Once approved, candidates must sign a contract with the NP. The contract mandates that they must have a visible and active relationship with the NP.
The political entourage included Alderman Michael Chandler, William Delgado, chief of staff for State Rep Miguel del Valle, and spokespersons for State Sen. Alice Palmer, Sonya Sanchez, chief of staff for State Sen. Jesse Garcia, who is running for State Rep in Garcia's District; and Barack Obama, chief of staff for State Sen. Alice Palmer. Obama is running for Palmer's vacant seat.
Bold is, of course, my addition. Candidates must sign a contract with the New Party, eh? I'm sure Obama was no exception, and he was mentioned quite prominently in the other two links provided. In the first link Peter provided:
Illinois: Three NP-members won Democratic primaries last Spring and face off against Republican opponents on election day: Danny Davis (U.S. House), Barack Obama (State Senate) and Patricia Martin (Cook County Judiciary).
Second link Peter provided:
The Chicago New Party is increasely becoming a viable political organization that can make a different in Chicago politics. It is crucial for a political organization to have a solid infrastructure and visible results in its political program. The New Party has continued to solidify this base. ... Barack Obama, victor in the 13th State Senate District, encouraged NPers to join in his task forces on Voter Education and Voter Registration.
What's even more weird? ACORN, the brilliant community agitator organizer group that is being hit with charges of voter fraud all over the country as we speak, is mentioned throughout these pages. They're all connected. The New Party may be "defunct" according to Wikipedia, but there's no doubt that the people supported by the New Party were required to sign contracts and become members if they were to be supported, and they would only be supported if they were in a clear position to win.
Yes, folks, Barack Obama IS a Socialist. He belonged to the socialist party of the United States and was a member when he became a Senator from Chicago. He practices clearly socialist ideas and he promises clearly socialist ideas if he gets into the White House. Socialism is pretty much the definition of anti-American... It goes against the whole idea of our Founding Fathers who were running from a government that had grown too powerful and was asserting its power where it had no right to. America was built in the idea that government should be SMALL and should NEVER interfere with personal lives. Obama is diametrically opposed to this... He even called health care a Right in his second debate with McCain. I'm sorry, but Rights are what are spelled out in the United States Constitution, Mister. We have the right to life, the right to liberty, and the right to the pursuit of happiness... We don't have the right to HAVE happiness, but we can sure do our darnest to pursue it. We don't have the right to health care or food or housing or anything! We have the PRIVILEGE of having them due to our right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. This country has always been the greatest country on this planet because the government was restricted and let people buy what they could afford, lose money if they made poor decisions, and generally butted out of everyday life. This is slowly changing and if Obama becomes president, you can kiss the greatest country on this planet good-bye forever. Once you start down the road of Socialism? Well... Take a look at Russia.
But don't bother to look for any of this in the "unbiased" mainstream media...
