Here's another landmark in my wonderful world of blogging... Or, at least to me, at any rate. 500 posts was one. I'm currently at 715 posts, for the record. This might be post 802 according to the URL, but some of those are never-published posts (ooh, secret stuff) and some are just numbers that WordPress has mysteriously lost track of. 50,000 spam comments was one, though I'm currently at 60,645 at the moment. Massive traffic from 4chan was another, which I have not yet managed to surpass. One thing I've never done, though, was bother to mention when I was going to be on vacation since my blog was never really active at the time I went away... But having that Fundies thing so fresh on everyone's mind and with a comment conversation with another Mister Anonymous (who, so far, has not returned), I feel I can finally mention that I'm going to be away for the weekend and it actually be useful news!

I'm going to Michigan to meet my friend, and he doesn't have Internet access at the moment, so I'll be enjoying piece and quiet. I may be able to get online at a public access point (Panera Bread comes to mind), but I just wanted to let you know that I'll be away until Monday night, so feel free to spam this place with all manner of derogatory, inflammatory and destructive comments because I won't be here to rebut them! (Of course, intelligent, classy and constructive comments are ALWAYS welcome, so don't feel left out if you want to leave one of those.) Keep an eye on the political situation for me! (That's the only thing I'm upset about... I'm missing the great Friday editions of Rush Limbaugh and Peter Heck. Bah!)
