I think it's quite obvious who the mainstream media supports.
Aren't they supposed to be... Objective? Unbiased?

So I'm sure all you liberals out there have heard the "outrageous" claims made by our "incompetent" President about his reasons for not playing golf anymore. Personally, I saw this article when it his the presses yesterday but I thought absolutely nothing of it... Silly me for thinking it would go unnoticed. Even MystBlogs picked it up, imagine that, so I'm going to say what I did in an Anonymous comment I left on the appropriate blog. (I have no Blogger username, nor do I plan on having one, so my apologies for the anonymity. However, the comment wasn't posted, so anonymous comments are filtered, so I don't have a whole lot of remorse.)
One thing I noticed off the bat? The relevant posts didn't bother sourcing the original interview and, instead, copied and pasted someone else's diatribe and then added their own predictable insights. Lucky for you, I'm a thorough little wolfy, and I'm going to provide you a link to the original interview! How about that, eh? For those of you too lazy to click a link, here's the gist of it:
Q: Mr. President, you haven't been golfing in recent years. Is that related to Iraq?
Bush: Yes, it really is. I don't want some mom whose son may have recently died to see the commander-in-chief playing golf. I feel I owe it to the families to be as  to be in solidarity as best as I can with them. And I think playing golf during a war just sends the wrong signal.
Q: Mr. President, was there a particular moment or incident that brought you to that decision, or how did you come to that?
Bush: No, I remember when de Mello, who was at the U.N., got killed in Baghdad as a result of these murderers taking this good man's life. And I was playing golf  I think I was in central Texas  and they pulled me off the golf course and I said, it's just not worth it anymore to do.
Naturally, the liberal left is going off the walls with how stupid our President is to think that not golfing is being in solidarity as best as he can. Now, I'll admit that it does seem a bit of a stretch the way Mister President presented it, but we all know Bush isn't the best speaker there is. Even the liberal messiah, Obama, (Obamessiah, so I've heard him been called) said there are 57 states and that 100 million people died in the cyclone. So come on... It's not longer fair for liberals to complain about "Bushisms" any longer since they saw fit to completely ignore two major Obamisms. Anyway! To the point:
Do you honestly think that the liberals would ignore it if Bush WAS out playing a game on the course? I'll bet you conservative readers can quite clearly hear the uproar that will cause. Liberals everywhere will whine about how Bush has the audacity to relax and play games while helpless soldiers are cowering under constant threat of destruction by suicide bombers. They would rail about how he has no heart and how he doesn't give a crap about our armed forces fighting for his personal vendetta. Yeah, we all know what would be said. We've heard the tune of liberals long enough to predict future songs.
I'm going to go a bit further and ask what kind of reporter would ask the President of the United States why he's not playing golf. What kind of a question is that? Are you trying to get personal with him? Ask him about his regular life? Obviously not, because the question was loaded: "Is that related to Iraq?" A completely irrelevant question that I don't think he should have bothered answering. But what's done is done and he did answer and the liberals are once again making an incredibly huge deal out of absolutely nothing... Something that they know they would find a problem with him doing the opposite of, too. It's a no-brainer for them. They hate the President. It doesn't matter what he does, they'll find a problem with it because that's what they enjoy doing.
Of course, to those of us with a good head on our shoulders, we look at them and laugh as they make fools of themselves for crying over why the President doesn't golf anymore. Cry on, oh great liberal collective! Cry on, for your great prophet Obama is poised to rule our 57 states with a communist socialist benevolent fist. I mean, he obviously plans for at least Iraq to become a new state. Iran, too, I'd be willing to bet. We could probably plot out boundaries for 7 states out of those countries.
DENNIS QUAID BACKS DRUGMAKER LIABILITY SUITS
I completely support his ideas...
I'll bet drug companies will be a lot more careful if they could be sued.
Nobody should have that kind of immunity... Especially not corporations.
Especially not corporations that can make mistakes that KILL people.
