Nihilism
Okay, long story, so I'm not going into it, but I wanted to know how to pronounce "nihilism". Ny-hill-ism? Nee-hill-ism? I mean, there's a monster in Half Life called Nilhilanth! So... I looked it up. According to the dictionary, it's a total rejection of laws... Rejection of truth... Rejection of authority. The works. Turns out that it's pronounced Nay-uhl-ism or Nee-uhl-ism. Interesting, eh? But now that I know "nee" is a correct pronunciation, here's a joke I made in the shower while thinking about it:
What do you call a hobbit who rejects the truth? A Knee-high-list. Ahahaha!
