You've Been Had! The Government Is Wasting Your Tax Dollars!

Wow... Discovery of the century! You know liberals have gone off the deep end when they say President Bush is responsible for the wasteful government spending. How can you honestly believe that? You think that the United States spending waaay too much money on everything is his fault, too? You think he had the power to stop Hurricane Katrina, and you think he started the money hole, now, too? You know what they call people who believe things that aren't true, right? Delusional?

Same thread of conversation had some mouthy Canadian listing all our faults (very fun when you get citizens from other countries telling us how we should run our country) and saying that Afghanistan was pointless... What's worse? People who call themselves Americans were actually agreeing with him! Are you serious? Are you purposely trying to make us look like the bad guys? We went to Afghanistan as a direct response to September 11! We were looking for Obama Osama Bin Laden back then... You know, the architect behind the largest attack on the United States since Pearl Harbor? I can understand (a very, tiny bit) where you all come from when you say Iraq is a pointless war, but now you're going one step higher and saying Afghanistan was pointless? What would you have done?! Watch the World Trade Center collapse by the enemy's hands and sit and do nothing?! That's what you liberals do, isn't it... Sit, do nothing and increase taxes and watch this country implode on itself. Oh, you do ban lightbulbs, I'm sorry. I guess you did get something done. Nothing, you know... Vital to the security of this country and its people.

It sickens me that people are so backwards as to believe this crap. I would go so far as to say that they willingly misinform themselves in an effort to support some sort of agenda, but I don't know what that agenda is, yet. Actually, I can only assume that they want to hurt the United States. Honestly, how stupid can you be to not want your country to go to war after it was attacked? How stupid can you be to think that your own government destroyed the World Trade Center so it could go to war? How stupid do you have to be to think that the terrorists in Iraq are going to back off and be happy little neighbors if we pull out? How stupid do you have to be to think they're not going to carry out their mission of destroying the United States and its promise of equality whether we're in Iraq or not? How stupid do you have to be to want to yank the front lines and have the suicide bombers come over here? You know, the terrorists are a constant. They're not being terrorists because we're there. They've always been terrorists. If we're not keeping them busy in the heart of their own land, they're going to go find a place to be busy... And I hope you realize that you, just by living in the United States, are a prime target. You're sympathizing with the enemy.

I just blew through the entire Journeyman series in less than 24 hours.

Once again, a completely amazing series was indirectly cancelled.

You know, I'm almost sad that the Writer's Strike is over... I know they needed jobs and everything, but I think that if this strike went on for long enough, it would have started to cripple television media enough for them to realize that, yes, there is good money in airing a good series! Unfortunately, their little ratings boxes tell them that reality TV is what we all want, and that anything else is a waste of money.

Also, on a completely different note? The spell checker feature in Firefox is absolutely horrendous. It kept flagging the word "cancelled" (still is) as being incorrect, and then I see it in that article I linked up there. So I decide to look it up on the dictionary and, yep. It's a correct way of spelling. (Technically, according to Dictionary.com, it's the British was of spelling it, but who cares? "Cancelled", "colour" and "theatre" are all flagged, but they look so much better than the lazy American spellings of "canceled", "color" and "theater.") It really got my attention when it flagged "inappropriate" for some reason. Naturally, it's not going it now. But it was when I was writing my last post. For the record, I only use Firefox because, for some reason, the Wordpress post window breaks Opera. Yes, it's a known issue and, no, nobody knows how to fix it, so I'm stuck using this bloated piece of junk for blogging.

Oh well... The point is: THEY CANCELLED JOURNEYMAN! How could they? Idiots!
