Funky Judge
It's only Monday and I have a funky article to show all you readers!
Straight outta New Mexico, we've got reports of a couple of losers working in a burger joint lacing the hamburgers of a couple of police officers with marijuana. How stupid do you have to be to do that? What's the point of it, anyway? Just to see everyone else get high, too?
So the officers eat the hamburgers and get high while they're on duty. That's really smart. Impairing an officer while he's driving around and doing his job. I have no sympathy for idiots who pull this kind of stuff. Naturally, after all is over with, the two morons get arrested and put on trial and got what they deserved... Wait, no, I lied. They did NOT get what they deserved. Actually, all the judge gave them was probation and accepted a promise not to do it again. What... the... heck... "You two culprits can go as long as you promise not to do it again." What criminal isn't going to promise that to get out of going to prison? What kind of judge is stupid enough to accept a promise from criminals, anyway?
Naturally, the police officers are incredibly upset and want a harsher sentence, but the judge is ignoring them and says "I don't blame them for mad at me." Yeah, I'm sure that comforts them. We're all glad to hear that you don't blame them, because the rest of us (intelligent) people side with the cops. The news service was unable to contact the judge to ask him exactly why he did this, which is no surprise. Give some stupid sentence (or lack thereof) and then go hide from the media so you don't have to answer for what you did. Typical. What's worse is that Digg, ever the sanctuary of the stupid, is making wise cracks at how at least the officers were too drugged up to go tasering innocent civilians. That's right. Digg dredges up a whopping 5 stories of police officers tasering someone and suddenly, we're all living in a police state. Also typical.
Anyway... Interested in hearing what you have to say. This was the only article I could find, so if you've unearthed another that explains things in a little more detail, then feel free to post it!
