Way to go, Apple!
Thursday, November 8th, 2007I was bugged for the last time to upgrade iTunes. First it was 7-point-this-point-that, then it was 7-point-that-point-this... As if I really need support for another overpriced iPod or iPhone. Well, just now, it bugged me to upgrade to 7.5... Finally! A point release instead of a point-point-point-point-"we wanted to make sure your iPhone is properly locked"-release. Good, right? Wrong!
It doesn't work, period, now. Thanks, Apple. 10 seconds of a song before complete freeze, pulling all CPU time with it. Oh, yes! This is why I love Apple. "It just works!" And in the off-chance that it was Vista that need restarting (AGAIN, after iTunes asked to be rebooted after update), I went ahead and did that. Did it work? Nope. Still trashed. Apple ingenuity at its best! Way to screw your Windows customers.
I won't be buying an iPod when it comes time to replace it. This is getting ridiculous. It even re-enabled the iPhone service that I manually disabled because it was sucking up a serious amount of RAM for nothing.
