Oh sure… blame it on inflation.

There’s been a recent influx of Playstation fanboys who have begun to use this console price chart to say that, based on “current economy” and “currency inflation” (and all these big words they quote, but probably don’t understand (I’m so mean)), the Playstation 3′s outlandish cost isn’t so bad.

A comment for a Slashdot article about an interview with Satoru Iwata made me look at the chart again just now…

So I’ve seen the chart… and I’m still laughing. Why? The chart that everyone’s using to say “$600 ain’t so bad” shows that Nintendo has always released their main consoles in the US for $200 throughout their entire history. NES… SNES… N64… Gamecube… all $200. Playstation? $300. Playstation 2? $300. Playstation 3? $600? Hehehe.

So who’s getting a Nintendo Wii?

*raises paw*

Stock Charts: Nintendo vs. Sony

Sony’s stock continues to decline in the wake of E3, while Nintendo is flying high. Apparently, investors are not impressed with the PS3.

…and people say Nintendo is a weak company incapable of withstanding the onslaught of “real” companies. Finally the proof is surfacing that Nintendo was never out of the picture.

Sony Says: 5 Million People Will Buy PS3

Testing out a Digg post… not sure if I like it. Hmm.

Anyway… interesting article telling about how Sony claims that they’re so awesome, 5 million people will buy a Playstation 3! Oh, but it gets better! They go on to say that 5 million people will buy a PS3… EVEN IF IT HAS NO GAMES.

Man… this is too funny.
