Erm... I think this guy is just talking to talk. No where does he give insight into how Microsoft is preparing, or give any information on anything that Microsoft has SAID about buying Sony. He pretty much just says "PS3 is going to be too expensive. Nobody will buy it. Sony will stop making money. Stock prices will go down. Microsoft will buy them because they're cheap. It will be the end of the world."
I think lots of people do this... just because Microsoft CAN buy someone out or CAN do something, then they like the put the spin on articles that Microsoft is actually considering it and makes them all out to be much more evil than they really are. While it would be a very interesting event in the history of electronics, like the article said... I just don't see it happening. Ever. Sony is bad, but they're not that bad, yet, I don't think.
Although this would be as awesome as Electronic Arts buying out Ubisoft, heehee.
